Kyle Drehmel earned 100th win, picks up 2nd OW Award

Kyle Drehmel notched his 100th career win in his first match of the day at the Robbinsdale Cooper Duals on January 28th, 2012. To capstone this significant achievement, Kyle earned his second tournament Outstanding Wrestler Award this season.

Congratulations Kyle!

And make sure to come out to the Kenyon-Wanamingo dual on Thursday, Feb. 9 as we recognize Kyle for this outstanding milestone in front of the hometown fans.

HVL JV Tournament 2012 Info

The Jr. High and Junior Varsity wrestlers will complete in their final event this Saturday. Host Lake City will run the HVL JV Conference Tournament Championship. Some details are:

Who: JV only who are not wrestling in team/individual sections
Eligibility: ineligible if wrestled 15+ varsity matches
Bus Departure: 8:15
Weigh-ins: 8-9
Weight Allowance: 2 # (106=108)
Wrestling Starts: 10:00

Consolation Matches: 2-1-1

Goodhue will host K-W for their final home, conference, and regular-season dual.

Robbinsdale Armstrong Duals Info

The wrestlers are traveling to Robbinsdale Armstrong for 3 duals on Saturday, February 4th. Here is some information.

Who: Varsity wrestlers plus JV (not Jr. High) alternates. There is a JV tournament that runs as well, so if a JV alternate is not going to be used in that round's dual, they should get a match in the round-robin JV portion of the tournament.
Bus Departure: 6:10
Weigh-ins: 7:30
Wrestling Starts: 9:30 (approximately); next round to be at 11:30 and 1:30
R. Armstrong Address: 10635 36th Avenue North, Plymouth, MN (Note: It's off of 36th Ave exit off of 169, which is an exit previous to the one you used to get to Robbinsdale Cooper last Saturday (if you took Hwy 169)).
