The Goodhue Wrestling Varsity/JV Program will have its first annual post-season banquet on Thursday, March 31 at 7:30 p.m. We will hold it in Gym #1 immediately after the 6:00 p.m. freestyle wrestling practice.

Goodhue Freestyle Schedule 2011
The Land of Lakes Wrestling Club will be offering a freestyle program in Goodhue this year. Coaches will be Tim Thompson and Kyle Huneke. From March to May, 16 practices will be offered to provide an opportunity for wrestlers to increase their skills and mat time in preparation for next year's success.
Registration will begin at the first practice held Thursday, March 17th at 5:30 in the wrestling room. Wrestlers from roughly grades 4 -12 are encouraged to attend.
The practice schedule has been entered in the Goodhue Wrestling Google Calendar. Also, it is posted on the Goodhue Wrestling website, and here is a link to a PDF of the freestyle calendar.

Bus Trip to MN State Wrestling Tournament Friday, March 4 2011
Land of Lakes Wrestling Club is sending a bus for wrestlers and parents who would like to attend the 2011 MN State Wrestling Tournament on Friday, March 4th. There is no cost for the bus/parking. Those who come will only be responsible for tournament ticket passes and food.
Students must have their parents notify the school of their absence of Friday and contact teachers to get any work/assignments that they'll be missing. Most of the 7-12 coaching staff will be going to supervise.
If you are interested in riding the bus, please send me an email as soon as you can (jgrant@goodhue.k12.mn.us) so I can get a better idea for bus capacity.

7:45 a.m. = Bus Departure from GHS
7:00 p.m. = Bus Departure from Xcel Energy Center/St. Paul
Cost:
*1 Day Pass/Student Rate = $17
*1 Day Pass/Adult Rate = $26
*3 Day Tournament Pass/Student Rate = $51
*3 Day Tournament Pass/Adult Rate = $78
